Tess Noeller at age five was the first ACT I member to every perform on the Palace stage, back in December of 1999 in our first Palace production, another variety show, I'll be Home for  Christmas.  Tess once again is the opening act for this variety show, five years later.

Jill Bopp returns to ACT I in her first performance for us since 1993.

Classical Guitarist Ray Knoff makes his debut with ACT I.

"Sugartime"

"The Beautiful Dudes and a Dead Flower"

The seven very talented children of Marcy and Gerald Horst perform a dance / rap routine

ACT I member Katie Hancock (Gretl from our recent The Sound of Music) lures her dad onstage to make his ACT I debut in their vocal duet.

Vocalist Dave Gates leads the audience in a sing-a-long at the top of the second act.

Vocalist Gina Lahue

Vocalist Abby Larkin

Trombonist David Canaday

Tony Bopp reminds us of his many comic talents enjoyed in past ACT I productions as he upstages his wife during their vocal duet.

Curtain Call

The Palace Theatre, in downtown Vinton, which first opened as a theatre in 1915, is celebrating five years of operation in its reincarnation as a modern performing arts center / cinema for the Vinton community!

Live at the Palace will be in the tradition of our past variety shows, but with the added festive air as we celebrate these two important anniversaries -- five years for the Palace and twenty-five years for ACT I!
